1. Introduction
The peer-review process is essential to maintaining the quality and integrity of publications in Dasinya Journal for Engineering and Informatics. We are grateful to our reviewers for volunteering their time and expertise. This guide outlines the responsibilities, ethical expectations, and practical instructions for reviewers using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
2. Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to:

Maintain confidentiality and impartiality throughout the review process.

Submit the review within the agreed deadline of two weeks.

Avoid using the manuscript content for personal advantage.
3. Review Criteria
When reviewing, please consider the following aspects:

4. Review Structure
Please submit your review through the OJS platform and divide your feedback into two parts:

A. Comments for the Author (will be shared with the author)

Use clear and respectful language.

Point out strengths and weaknesses.

Suggest improvements (clarifications, corrections, or additions).

If recommending major changes, explain why.

B. Confidential Comments to the Editor (visible only to the editorial team)

Highlight any ethical concerns or suspicions of plagiarism.

Clarify reasons for recommendation (especially if borderline).

Suggest whether the paper is suitable for publication or not.

5. Recommendation Options
When submitting your review, you will be asked to select one of the following decisions:

Accept Submission – Suitable for publication as is.

Revisions Required – Minor changes needed; re-review not necessary.

Resubmit for Review – Major revisions required; re-review necessary.

Decline Submission – Not suitable for publication.
6. Confidentiality and Ethics

Do not share, cite, or distribute the manuscript during or after review.

Do not contact the authors directly.

If you suspect plagiarism, ethical misconduct, or duplicate publication, report it confidentially to the editor.
7. How to Submit a Review

Log in to the journal website: https://dasinya.dpu.edu.krd

Click on your Reviewer dashboard.

Under Active Submissions, click the manuscript title.

Download the manuscript and supplementary files from the Review tab.

In the Review Form, enter your comments:

Paste comments for the author in the designated box.

Add confidential notes for the editor (optional).

Select a recommendation from the drop-down menu.
-
Upload any annotated files (optional).
-
Click Submit Review to Editor when finished.
8. Recognition and Benefits

Reviewers will receive acknowledgment upon request.

Certificates of Review can be issued by the editorial office.

High-quality and timely reviewers may be invited to join the Editorial Board.
